*More New Pages* Remember Moments Art Journal

Image
I’m back again with another page is my Race Day journal.  For this page I created a stencil with scrap paper and the floral pocket die from set 2160 Romance. I used the stencil to decorate my Coffee Dyed paper.  I used the same die to add a pocket onto my page to hold some memorabilia.  I used the 2016 Journal File XL1 Set to cut a tab for the daily schedule. The die has a flap on it which I just trimmed off. I also added a stamp from set CS232 Label Tabs.  You can see the full but short process video below.  Thank you so much for stopping by and have yourself a WONDERFUL day!

Today I have a brand new page to share with you from my Art Journal. I created this page after my samples were sent in, so no one has seen them yet!  Until now, lol   I used the drop out pieces from the (2159 Remember) film strip dies, that I cut on a previous page, for the main design of this layout.  I stamped all over my Coffee Dyed papers with stamps from set CS364 Textures to create some interest and dimension.  I used dies from both the 2111 Labels, Tags & More and 2016 Journal XL 1 sets for my embellishments.  You can see more details about this page in this short process video.  Thank you so much for stopping by and have an AMAZING day!

I’m back again with another page in my Day Trip journal.  For this 8th page, I cut out the film strips using the 2159 Remember die set.  I added some black cardstock behind the edges of the film strips and then my photos.  I used a fancy circle die from the 2163 Journal Sleeves Fillers 1 set and inked it with some grey ink to tone down the brightness.  I added some cheese cloth behind the photos and a simple dies cut word for the title.  You can see a quick process video below.  Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a  FANTASTIC  day!

I’m here to share  another page in my Race Day Art Journal with you. For this page I stamped images from set CS363 Passport Stamps all over my base pages in second generation. If you don’t know, that means that after I fully inked my stamp, I stamped off on a scrap of paper and then stamped on my page. This gives you a lighter coloured image.  I cut my photos and mats using the 2163 Journal Sleeves Fillers 1 set. The journal spot comes from CS361 Around the World.  I tucked the small film strip from set 2159 Remember under both photos. I created the title using a stencil from Journal Stencils 4 and a stamp from CS365 Journal Phrases.  You can follow along with my very short process video below.  Thank you for stopping by and have yourself a WONDERFUL day!

I have  another page in my Race Day Art Journal to share with you.  This time I added some bright green to mix with the browns   I used some opaque texture paste mixed with some acrylic colour and applied it through a stencil for a fun background texture.  I cut out my photos and mats using the Page Filler dies. Those dies are so fun for creating shaped photos! I added splattered gloss spray in the same colour as my cardstock die cuts. I also stamped some sentiments and die cut them out.  You can see all the details in the short process video below.  I used the following Elizabeth Craft Designs products which can be found in your local craft store or in the ECD website.  2163 Journal Sleeves Fillers 1 2159 Remember Journal Stencils 4 CS365 Travel Phrases Coffee Dyed Paper Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a wonderful day.

I have another page in my Race Day Art Journal to share with you.  This page was so much fun to create! I decided to experiment with my Emboss It Dabber and extending a die.   I was able to extend the film strip die so that I could create the border on the last page. You can see how I did this in the video below.  I used the Emboss It ink through the sunburst stencil and then added some Wow! Clear Sparkle embossing powder. It turned out AMAZING! This page will also include one of the new ECD Journal Sleeves but they were delayed until after my project deadline.  I went ahead and designed it as if I had the sleeve and Devid was able to add it on for me 😉 You can watch the full process video below and see the page with the sleeve at the 51 minute mark  here .  I used the following Elizabeth Craft Designs products which can be found in your local craft store or in the ECD website.  2163 Journal Sleeves Fillers 1 2159 Remember CS363 Passport Stamps CS365 Travel Phrases Thanks for stoppin

ATC Prompt Circles

Image
Hi again. Today I’m sharing my ATC’s for the Elizabeth Craft Designs July ATC prompt. The prompt this month is “circles”. I started out by cutting the cards from the Abandoned Papers collection using the stitched ATC die from the original ATC Specials Kit.  My next step was to run them through a couple of embossing folders I had in my stash. Each one has a different circle pattern.  Next, I used my brayer to apply some die ink to the embossed circles.  Once the embossed circles were coloured I used the same ink to edge distress each card.  I used the same ATC Specials kit to cut out bases for my cards using brown cardstock that coordinates nicely with my patterned paper.  I ink distressed the edges of the bases with my light brown ink and stamped the back with the coordinating stamp from the ATC Specials kit.  I attached the cards to the bases.  I pulled out the hot air balloon stamp from set CS361 Around the World. First I mounted it to my block backwards! I inked up the back of the
