I'm having so much fun putting together these workshops and I really feel like I'm starting to get caught up.  The workshop features the Basics Fundamental paper pack, the Better Together complements and the Basics ribbon pack.  I still have a bit of paper left over and am planning on creating one more double page layout with the new Blush cardstock.  The instructions are free with your purchase of the workshop components or you can purchase the instructions separately for only $10. I finished my Falling for You workshop!  As with previous workshops this is the standard Workshop Your Way kit with the added coordinating cardstock package.  I did change up one of the base pages for the original workshop but otherwise they are the same.       If you don't know, I host monthly club nights at my house, typically on the third Friday of the month.  While some folks work on these kits other just work on their own projects.  It's always a fun night and we usually get a lot done.  If you're interested in joining in just let me know.  If you're not local to Barrie, Ontario and would like the instructions for this workshop you can purchase it for $10 or it's free with your online kit order.  Just email me at paperplayroom@hotmail.com for ordering details. I've been getting caught up on my Halloween layouts.  This is a retired paper but it suited the subject. This is the workshop layout but I changed the title to suit my needs.   I've used the swiping technique to stamp my title images.  So simple but a great effect.

I always start my scrapbooking layouts by reviewing my pictures and finding a pattern that suits them before even printing them.  Sometimes that means using a CTMH pattern and sometimes it means using a pattern I find on the internet.  I always start with something as my inspiration though, even if in the end it looks very different.  This layout was inspired by one I saved on my Pinterest board . Since I usually create double page layouts and this was just a single page, I needed to figure out how to the right page would look.  It was pretty simple though and I think it turned out quite well.   I used the new Hopscotch Workshop kit and the coordinating complements .  This kit is only available until the end of March in the first Seasonal Expressions Idea Book.  The frame is a photo mat cut from the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.  I used the arrows that were cut out and just flipped them over...

At our last club meeting we started to create this great layout with the Timberline Workshop and the  Timberline Complements .   We copied the layout on page 48 of the current Idea Book.  It was a little difficult to get it looking just right but I think we figured it out.   I wasn't too sure at first what to do to make a coordinating second page so I basically just extended the elements across.  I thought it would be too busy and take away from the left page if I added another Artbooking mat, so I just went with simple paper. I based the second page layout loosely on Layout 01 in the Make It from Your Heart V2 .  I wanted to maximize the quantity of pictures that I could fit.  I really like the way this turned out.   Here are a couple of close ups so you can see the dimension.
