I'm so glad that Studio J layouts are on sale this month.  I really needed to get caught up on some of my scrapbook layouts.  I just haven't had a lot of time lately and when I do I've been busy making home décor items.  I don't have a lot of experience in Studio J but it really is super easy to use and a lot of fun.  Below are the layouts that I created. I love that I can use paper packs that I didn't purchase when they were available in the Idea Book.  Studio J is a great chance to create layouts that I might not make with paper because of them being a little complex. It's also great that I can leave parts of the layout blank so that I can add embellishments later.  For the Magic layout I have a vellum square that I'm going to add. I've had this frame for quite some time now.  I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it though.  The kit that comes with it is nice but it just wasn't what I was looking for.  Instead I wanted to create something to hang in my new mud room.  The room isn't finished yet but I really wanted to use one of my new family portraits and see how it would look.  I was inspired by a post that I saw on another consultants blog.  Here is the link. http://4heartsscrapbooking.blogspot.ca/2013/08/close-to-my-heart-new-product-blog-hop.html   I used a variety of CTMH products on this frame.  I used the mini-medley wooden collection clothespins to attach the entire piece to the frame.  I thought this would work nice so that I can change it in the future if I decide to.  Other items are the mini-medley Rosewood collection, Reel Life stamp set, Ivy Lane paper and the Timberline paper for the background page. ...

I'm still trying to play catch up with my blog posts.  It got a little hectic over the holidays and I just couldn't seem to find time to take pictures and sit at the computer to post anything.  I certainly have been crafting but I probably did more organizing than crafting.  I always find that I want to reorganize my house at the holidays.  Do you get into these moods too?  Sometimes I think I'm the only one that gets so obsessed with organizing.  I think a big reason that I do this around Christmas is to make room for all the new toys my boys will get.  This year I went quite a bit beyond that though.  I completely reorganized my laundry/storage room which was quite an undertaking, but it is sooooo much better now.  I can finally get to things without having to move everything out of the way first and fighting to pull things out of corners.  I consolidated all of my pantry items to the storage room which hopefully will stop...

I decided that since I have so many projects that I haven't posted and wanted to I would just do one post with a whole bunch of them.  If there are any projects you see here that you would like to see more of then please let me know.  I am happy to share more details and pictures. 1. Calender Gift I made this cute little calendar as a donation for my work golf tournament.  It's something that I wanted to try for quite some time.  The calendar itself is a free download from Heidi Swapp's blog  and the rest is a mix of things that I had on hand.  The majority of the embellishments are from  Close to my Heart  and I bound it all with my Cinch.         2.
