Sidekick Saturday Jan 20 Prompt

Image
Hi everyone, today I'm sharing another planner page that I made for the   Elizabeth Craft Planners & Journaling Facebook   group Sidekick Saturday prompts. The prompt for Jan 20 is MEMORIES, so  I choose a couple of old photos to use on this page. I cut my photos using the dies from the Torn 2110 die set from the new Art Journal Elements collection. Then I matted them on the ATC backer. I used the back of my previous planner page for a base and cut this lovely text paper with Planner Essentials 38 to place over top. I inked the base with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide to show through the splatter openings. I added the beautiful butterfly from the Ornate Butterfly 2112 set, also from the new collection. You can see the full process video on my YouTube channel.  Thank you for stopping by and have an AMAZING day! ECD Sidekick Saturday Prompt

Image
Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a fun ATC project that I made for the Elizabeth Craft Planners & Journaling Facebook group Sidekick Saturday prompts. I am really enjoying creating Artist Trading Cards, so I thought it would be fun to combine them with a planner page!  Even though the prompt is for the Sidekick size I decided to use a regular size planner page. The prompts in the planner group started in January, so I'm a little behind. This is my first prompt for Jan 6 which is Letters - Text. I found a package of fun postage stamp holders at my local thrift store  and thought they would make a great pocket page. I used the stamps, dies and stencils from the new Art Journal Elements collection. I used the new number stencil from the collection on my base page with distress oxide inks.  Numbers still count as text, right? I used an older Art Journal stencil for the ATC background and then stamped with new and older Art Journal stamps. Even though the pockets in the base page

*NEW RELEASE* Art Journal with Shaker Coins

Today I want to share another fun project that I made with the new  Art Journal Elements collection. I started with the base page and scored it so that I created a little trifold booklet. I used the crackle stencil to add some ink to the background on the inside.  I added both types of pockets to the inside. I created shaker Artist Trading Coins for the two outside pockets. I created three tags for the centre pocket and I added stickles to the stars. All of the elements in this folder are from the new Art Journal Elements collection and the papers are all from the Abandoned Papers collection. Watch for a demo on the creation of the shaker coins coming February 28 to the Elizabeth Craft Designs Facebook page ! Journal Together 2024 February Prompt

Image
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a little Art Journal page that I made for the Elizabeth Crafts, Journal Together 2024 February prompt.   The prompt this month (February) is WOODGRAIN.   I created this page using papers from the Grungy Wood collection. All of the dies and stamps are from the new Art Journal Elements collection by Devid Roodenburg. I had some Liquid Acrylics from Finnabair in my stash which I used for the first time to add splatters and  to create the drips on the paper I cut the base using the die from the 2111 Labels, Tags & More set and scored it to fit into my Cork Art Journal. After cutting one end of the page with the floral border die, I created the pocket and added the floral border stamp on top. This pocket holds a simple ATC which can be for journaling or maybe a picture. I added transparent matt texture paste to the cover using the crackle stencil from the new collection. Then I ran some blue ink over the page with my blending brush to highlight the cra

Today is the DAY! The new collection from Devid Roodenburg is here. I’m so excited to share my first project using this new release! Since the Artist Trading Coins are new to this collection I thought that would be a fun place to start.  Instead of making individual coins I thought it would be fun to make  a chain of coins!  I also created a little storage box for them. Each coin is double sided I used the new ECD Art Journal Elements Artist Trading Coins stamp and die sets. You can see all of the details in my process video below. February ATC Prompt - Two Colours

Image
Have you joined in on the ATC Prompts over on the ECD ATC facebook page yet?   Be sure to check it out and join in.   This is my take on the February prompt - Two Colours.   I took some items that I found at a thrift store and inked them through my art journal stencils with two distress oxide greens.   I used the trees and houses from the 2050 Snow Village die set. I also added the sayings from the CS235 All the Details stamp set and cut them out with the frame from Journal XL2 set.   I love how cute and simple these cards and the folder is.  I will probably add some more items into the other pockets but for now it's lovely with just the two ATC's. You can watch my process video with all of the details below. Thank you so much for stopping by.  I really hope you enjoyed my project and will post one of your own in the Facebook group . Have an AMAZING day!

ATC Holder

Image
I recently created this simple folder to hold my set of butterfly Artist Trading Cards.  I coloured some seam binding ribbon with Peacock Feathers distress oxide and used the same ink to edge all of my paper and stamps.  I cut the base using the Journal XL1 die and the pockets using the original Summer Journal Special die.  My ATC’s fit perfectly in the pockets even though they are quite dimensional.  I used the Elizabeth Craft DS04 Far Far Away stamp and die cut for the decorative elements and CS305 for most of the words.  I added some Stickles glitter gel to white butterfly die cuts just like the ones on my ATC cards.  I finished the other side in the same way and added space for two more cards.  Be sure to watch my process video with all the details on how I assembled this folder.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed this project and if you are interested in any of the products I used then p lease use my discount code to save 10% on a min. $25 purchase https://ecr
