Basics Fundamental Workshop

Image
I'm having so much fun putting together these workshops and I really feel like I'm starting to get caught up.  The workshop features the Basics Fundamental paper pack, the Better Together complements and the Basics ribbon pack.  I still have a bit of paper left over and am planning on creating one more double page layout with the new Blush cardstock.  The instructions are free with your purchase of the workshop components or you can purchase the instructions separately for only $10. If you're interested in attending an in person workshop for this then you can find monthly club dates on my facebook page .  To purchase the instruction only just drop me a message at paperplayroom@hotmail.com.

Falling For You Workshop

Image
I finished my Falling for You workshop!  As with previous workshops this is the standard Workshop Your Way kit with the added coordinating cardstock package.  I did change up one of the base pages for the original workshop but otherwise they are the same.       If you don't know, I host monthly club nights at my house, typically on the third Friday of the month.  While some folks work on these kits other just work on their own projects.  It's always a fun night and we usually get a lot done.  If you're interested in joining in just let me know.  If you're not local to Barrie, Ontario and would like the instructions for this workshop you can purchase it for $10 or it's free with your online kit order.  Just email me at paperplayroom@hotmail.com for ordering details. The above layouts are the kit layouts and the next ones are my bonus layouts.

STAMPAGANZA!!

Image
Yeah, so excited for the return of STAMPAGANZA !  If you weren't aware, every now and then Close to my Heart will hold an event called Stampaganza and during that month you get a FREE stamp set with every two that you purchase.  It's such a great deal.  As an added bonus this month only (July 2017) you can purchase these very popular retired stamps sets.  It's a great chance to grab those ones that you missed out on. And even more, this amazing stamp collection is also back for this month only.  You can of course purchase just the ones you like or the entire set!  Even better yet, if you host a qualifying party then you can get all of them for FREE!  Yes, I said all of them.  How amazing is that?  You can also get the entire set free if you decide to sign up as a Close to my Heart consultant this month.  What a great way to kick off a new venture.  You can check out all of our amazing stamps here .  If you have any questions or would like

Live Beautifully Mini Book

Image
In honour of National Scrapbooking month Close to my Heart created this stunning paper pack with amazing gold foil images.  I took their pattern for this little mini book and added some additional pages and different embellishments and here is how it turned out. This album was just perfect for my parents honeymoon pictures.  I love how great they look together.  The Live Beautifully  paper is only available until the end of May so don't miss out.

Little Dreamer Workshop Bonus Kit

Image
I've recently started to develop extra layouts to use up all of the papers in a Workshop Your Way kit.  This time I've done the same for the adorable Little Dreamer WYW kit.  All you need is the kit and the coordinating cardstock pack.  I love all of these layouts and was surprised that I was able to find pictures for all of them!  That's often difficult when I have two little boys and not much pink and purple in my life. I am planning on completing this kit with my club ladies on June 23.  If you're local (Barrie) and interested in joining in, just let me know.  If you would like to purchase the kit then you can do so online at the links above and I will send you the instructions by email.

Huntington Halloween

Image
I've been getting caught up on my Halloween layouts.  This is a retired paper but it suited the subject. This is the workshop layout but I changed the title to suit my needs.   I've used the swiping technique to stamp my title images.  So simple but a great effect.
