Timberline Layout

At our last club meeting we started to create this great layout with the Timberline Workshop and the  Timberline Complements .   We copied the layout on page 48 of the current Idea Book.  It was a little difficult to get it looking just right but I think we figured it out.   I wasn't too sure at first what to do to make a coordinating second page so I basically just extended the elements across.  I thought it would be too busy and take away from the left page if I added another Artbooking mat, so I just went with simple paper. I based the second page layout loosely on Layout 01 in the Make It from Your Heart V2 .  I wanted to maximize the quantity of pictures that I could fit.  I really like the way this turned out.   Here are a couple of close ups so you can see the dimension. Another Mini Book Gift

My husband's best friend turned 50 this past month.  I knew that I needed to make a little something for him to remember the occasion.  I searched through my stash and found the perfect little mini book.  It's the CTMH My Creations 3-ring binder.  It's discontinued now but there are new ones to choose from. I used some old Lucky paper and stickease and some embellishments from my stash.  I love how well the new  Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon matches with this.  It added some nice texture to the cover.  I also used a couple of the new mini stamps.  I used the  Heartfelt Birthday and the  Shooting Star one.  These are great little stamps that are so useful and they only cost $2.95.
