New Product!! August Team Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly team Blog Hop featuring NEW PRODUCTS from the Annual Inspirations book. If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you get lost you can find your way by going to Brae's blog at http://thebrae-er.blogspot.com for a full list of participants. If you came from Create with Alyson's blog then you are in the right place!

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!
Ok, so I've been absent from the hop for a while.  I've been so busy this summer that I've hardly found time to scrap much at all.  I have completed a few projects which hopefully I can share sometime soon.  I'm so happy that I have something to share this month though.

I am so in love with the new products from Close to my Heart.  They continue to provide us with amazing papers and embellishments and so much more.  As soon as I saw the Chalk It Up paper pack I knew that I had to have it.  I am loving the chalkboard look but I also really love the coordinating embellishments too.  The Chalk It Up Assortment is so adorable and fun.  I love how well it suited these pictures and I didn't even realize until I was almost done that there were little "admit one" tickets in the assortment!  Just perfect for an amusement park layout.

In addition to the Chalk It Up Workshop on the Go, I purchased the Chalk It Up Complements which are really nice chipboard embellishments.  Even though the kit has a school theme there is so much of it that can work for almost anything.

The stamp set that comes with the WOTG is so adorable.  I used the workshop layout for my inspiration for this little cluster.   You might be wondering about the little triangle cut outs.  I wasn't sure about the new Triangle Border Punch at first but I LOVE IT!  You might notice that I used the little triangle that I punched out as accents on the opposite page.  Cute eh?

The other new product that I just had to have was the Designed Decor Black Shadow Box Frame.  What a great product.  The front frame is hinged to allow you to quickly and easily swap out what you put inside.  I don't have a spot for it yet but you can bet that it will find a home very soon so that everyone can see my latest creations!

The next stop on the Hop is Brae. Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to create your own projects from those that you have seen along the way. Join us again next month when we will feature something "Out of the Box".
